Recognizing our Great Agents

It is that time again when the air is getting cooler and crisper, the sun is setting earlier, the leaves are turning orange and red and now we have both the Cardinals and the Cubs in post season baseball.  This is a great time of year. 

This week is also a great week as we wrap up Customer Service Week.  One of the things about great customer service is you have to have people to give that great service.  As leaders, I am sure we tell those people good job but what better way to let those employees know that you appreciate them than by nominating them for the HDI Analyst of the Year or Desktop Support Technician of the Year.  A nomination by you is a public recognition of all their good work and a chance to show St. Louis and beyond the high quality agents you have.  It is worth noting, the only requirement to nominate is that the agent has to have been functioning and performing duties in the nominated role for at least 75% of the year and any one company can nominate up to two analysts/support technicians a year.  This means, whether they are a full time employee or a long term contractor, they can be nominated.  I strongly urge you to nominate your outstanding agents.

It is not just your support agents that can be recognized.  HDI also recognizes teams and managers that have performed well and offered superior support and service.  The HDI Manager of the Year Award acknowledges and honors a service and support manager who has excelled at supporting any or all IT services within their organization.  The HDI Team Excellence Award evaluates the team with regard to maturity, innovation and efforts made to provide a stellar customer experience, and how people, process, and technology together have improved service and overcome challenges presented to the organization.
